Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray had addressed a press conference on 10th after having a meeting with the State Legislature, Business Advisory Committee (BAC). He had stated and expressed concerns for overcrowding and violation of health protocols and guidelines after certain restrictions lifted from the lockdown.
Uddhav Thackeray had also conveyed about the demand that he had placed for resuming suburban train services for essential purposes during the lockdown. Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister had also conveyed about a proposal being considered by the Maharashtra Government in order to provide relief after the Nisarga cyclone.
Uddhav Thackeray, Maharashtra CM on imposing lockdown again if guidelines are not followed:-
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray had addressed a press conference on 10th after having a meeting with the State Legislature, Business Advisory Committee (BAC). He had stated on the reports of overcrowding that the relaxations for outdoor physical activity have been placed for health while not for spoiling it.
Uddhav Thackeray had also stated the lockdown shall be lifted in phased manner; however people need to follow heath protocols and guidelines. He had also stated that the danger has not yet surpassed but we now need to learn to live with virus as the economic cycle cannot be halted.
Uddhav Thackeray further stated that the Government can withdraw the relaxations while hinting for lockdown if norms are not followed. He further stated that the threat related to virus is still persistent however for resumption of economic activities it has to be lifted up but people should follow guidelines too.
He further conveyed that the people of the state will listen to him as the state has been doing so much for them.
Uddhav Thackeray on resumption on resumption of Suburban train services in Mumbai during the lifting of lockdown:-
Uddhav Thackeray had further stated that he has placed demand in front of the Center for resumption of rail services in Mumbai. Uddhav Thackeray further stated the reason that staff involved in providing essential services, have been facing problems of commute with restricted transport movement.
Uddhav Thackeray even stated that they have been facing difficulty in reporting to their duty. He stated that the resumption of locals would be great relief for the workforce involved in essential services.
Maharashtra has reported to have crossed the mark of 90,000 corona positive cases while the city of Mumbai accounting the most. Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister had also conveyed about a proposal being considered by the Maharashtra Government in order to provide relief after the Nisarga cyclone.
